So a group of my friends and I are making chemo caps, for Kaps for Kendall. Mandy made the smallest size...it's teeny tiny! So when I saw it, the first thing I thought was, "that would fit my cat Jesse". So what do I do? Try it on him of course!! Why is it so funny to me to see my cat in a hat? He looks miserable doesn't he? This lasted about a split second then he ran off...we laughed long after he left...oh, cats are so fun! Who says you can't make knitted clothing for a cat!

Hi Stacey, thaks for your comment on my blog. Lucky you, receiving that Philosopher's Wool kit; a dream come true. Any time you have any questions just ask.

We have a little Fez hat for one of my cats. He tolerates it for about a minute. I think if it didn't have a chin strap he'd probably wear it longer...
Hey, Stacey. Glad to see you gave into temptation and bought the Glimmer. I used slightly more than one skein (single strand and size 8 needles). I had so much left in the second skein, I dashed over to the LYS on my way home yesterday and bought another skein. Now I can make a second (two from three skeins).
Posted by: Susan at September 16, 2004 06:37 PM*hee hee hee* I don't think anyone says you CAN'T knit clothes for a cat--but SHOULD you knit clothes for a cat? I have two cats myself, and I have a terrific time watching my daughter try and dress them in her doll's clothes.

Posted by: Stacey at September 20, 2004 07:21 AMThat picture of your cat in the hat is hilarious!!! Every year at Christmas while I'm wrapping my presents, I always put a bow on my cat's head. It doesn't last very long but it sure is funny. He backs up trying to get it off. Never goes forward ... just backs up. Enjoyed your site. Please visit mine. It has lots of dancing sheep! Nice to meet another Stacey! :-)
