Fry•Up•Along

All right ladies, you asked for it, so here it is...let's all knit our own fry up!! The knitalong officially starts February 1. Email me if you are going to participate and I will list you in the side bar. I bought some yarn at Joanne's last week and fiddled around with it this weekend and may have to exchange it because it's worsted weight and I think I need to do it in DK weight, the bacon I started was too bulky...it looked tasty, but too big for the purse I had in mind. I'll let everyone know what yarn I end up deciding on. Come on out all you lurkers who have been thinking about this project...you know you want your own fry up! Check out the pattern here. Anyone can join, if you have a blog or not! I think this is going to be a ton of fun to knit, thanks everyone for encouraging me to turn it into a knit-a-long!!

Just want to say that whenever you're back and ready to run the knitalong, I'd love to join. I hope it will cheer you up some to do it. :)

I'll join! I noticed this pattern a while ago and have always thought about knitting it up. Although, I think I will pass on the hat!

I've been dying to do this! Can't wait. Thanks for the bacon tip.

Truly awesome! I've had this pattern bookmarked for ages, but I've never gotten around to it.... :P

This is such a hoot. I won't join the knitalong, because that will surely take all the joy out of it for me -- knitalongs seem to do that to me for some reason. But I will be a joyful spectator. I just think this is precious!

I'm not quite sure why I'm signing up, but I seriously cannot resist this. Breakfast purse, here I come!

I am in for the Fry Up Along. It's my first knit along and it's the perfect choice. Thanks for hosting!

I always thought the pattern was hysterical and never thought I'd make it, but my husband really really wants a breakfast hat! How can I refuse? Thanks for the knit-along to provide the motivation!

I'm all over the bag, but the beret is a wee bit loopy for me. I'm keen to join the knitalong :)
