Thanks everyone!

Thank you everyone for the outpouring of support that I have been shown the last few days. The trip to Kansas was a quick one. There and back in one day, it was about a 3 1/2 hour drive to Colby, KS from Denver. So about 7 hours total in the car...I must be getting old because boy was I worn out just from riding in the car all day! The service was nice, I was sad to say that I had only met this great-grandmother a hand full of times. She was my father's stepdad's mother, born June 16, 1904...so she was 101 years old when she passed away. I kept thinking about all the things that she saw and experienced in her lifetime...wow, so much has changed. I heard a lot of wonderful stories about her, and I was glad to be able to be there to support my Grandfather, who 6 months ago lost his wife. Thanks again everyone for giving me a little bit of cheer when I came home and checked my email!
I have said it before, and I'll continue to say it...this knit-blogging community is AWESOME! Go see and take the challenge that Stephanie has made!! Seriously...go...right now! In 3 days, count em, three days...this community of knitters has made a difference! And it's only the beginning!

I'm glad it all went well. 7 hours total isn't bad, at least it wasn't on my end of Kansas.
