Just a quick post...

These are the flowers that my Flowerswap partner made for me...aren't they pretty?! I can't wait to wear them! The biggest flower is going to look perfect on my orange tweed coat.
Here's how I spent the Superbowl:

Awwww!!! Yes, it's the cutest niece ever...and yes, that's the beginnings of a buttonhole bag. More on that later.
can you pretty please tell me where i'd find a pattern for those flowers? they are gorgeous!
Posted by: yvette at February 10, 2005 12:10 AMwhat a perfect way to spend superbowl sunday - plus, this way you'll start the knitting training early. :)
Posted by: maeve at February 10, 2005 06:02 AMThat is so cute and multitasking too, way to go!!
Posted by: Tracy at February 10, 2005 07:23 AMSoooo CUTE! I wanna cuddle with a little baby! Great flowers, they're so full and bright :)
Posted by: Vicki at February 10, 2005 10:19 AMOHMIGOD!! The pic of you and your niece is IRRESISTABLE!!! All you need to make people DIE from cuteness overload is Oreo snuggling with his head in your lap too (not that you really have any room leftover).
Posted by: Cyn at February 10, 2005 09:09 PMI'm glad you like the flowers. They look so nice together. I think I'll have to make a few more for myself. It was a pleasure making them for you :D FYI: The pattern can be found in Knit.1 magazine by Vogue Knitting, fall/winter '04.
Posted by: empress at February 10, 2005 11:08 PMI thought that I had seen those flowers somewhere before...duh! I have that magazine..yeah, now I can make some more!
