Socks are in the house!

ModelingSocks.jpg

Yippee! My sockapalooza socks are in the house!! I received them on Thursday, and I made a special trip home over my lunch hour to get them because I just couldn't wait!!! Thanks Rowena! I had just looked at these socks in progress last week over at her blog, GeoKnitting, and I thought, "Oh look, someone else is having a much better time knitting the Crusoe sock than I did...hmmm...I love that pattern, but I can't ever see myself knitting or attempting to knit another pair. Oh well." So what do I get in the mail, not even a week later? A pair of Crusoe socks!!! I love them...and now I'll never have to make a pair myself! And the colors are totally me...little pink, little orange, little purple, yeah baby! And the best part is that they totally match my new orange Crocs!

Thanks so much Rowena...you made my week!

Wow...cool socks, and Crocs. Socks and Crocs...sounds like a good Dr. Seuss story. I just bought some purple Crocs and I love 'em. I've been tempted by the orange, too...how great to have handknit socks to match!

The socks look great! Glad you found the motivation to try Crusoe again. Alright, are those shoes comfortable? I see them ALL THE TIME on campus, but they look so uncomfy. And sweaty if you wear them without socks lol.

So, I can't take credit for knitting these great socks Vicki...and since Rowena knit them for me now I never have to knit them!!And my Crocs have barely left my feet since I got them the day before I left for L.A.! I wore them out there with no socks and I was fine, but you're in Kansas and have to deal with humidity, but I say get some! It's like walking on a marshmallow!!

I thought maybe they'd motivate you to try again since they're so pretty. Guess not so much lol

Oh, I'm so glad you like them!! I had a great time with the pattern, although there are so many sock patterns out there that I probably won't re-knit them again soon. And you've totally sold me on the crocs, now!! I've seen them on other people's blogs and have been yearning after them a bit, now I just HAVE to buy them. :)

Have a great spring!
