So, I've been busy the last few days...doing what you ask? I'm going to sum it up in pictures.
Saturday night, I knit over at Cynthia's apartment, or should I say Cosmo's apartment...because it was clear who ruled that house! :) He has a sidekick named Danger, but the picture didn't come out, but how cute are those names? Cosmo and Danger?!

Sunday was spent finishing up my backtack project...busting out my Grandma's sewing machine. I think I see a lot of sewing projects in my future!

Monday was a blur and Tuesday was spent playing with Alice and taking her to the library for storybox time! So fun! She is such a cutie...of course I took pictures! I have to brag a little and say that the librarian was very impressed that she listened so well and paid attention to the story since she is still less than a year. Yep, she's a baby genius.

Tuesday night I met up with some lovely ladies at The Tattered Cover bookstore to knit. Unfortunely we didn't find the comfy chairs until more than half way through the evening. But seriously, does this look like a comfortable way to knit with your friends or what?!

We all had recliners!! Recliners, knitting, friends, beverages at the ready, and being surrounded by books is the perfect way to spend the evening before a root canal.

Wish me luck...I'm headed for the dentist at noon tomorrow. Hopefully you'll hear from me sometime tomorrow evening...if I make it:)
Good Luck! You will be fine. Take some music to listen to, it will make it seem much faster

Posted by: kathy b at June 29, 2005 08:48 AMI really enjoy your blog. Not just because I call Denver home, even though I live in Maine now! I did get a tad homesick when I saw the Tattered Cover pics though . . . Hope you feel well quickly!
Posted by: Bridget at June 29, 2005 09:07 AMYou're gonna be a super-star at the dentist. If you need me to come over and nurse you this afternoon, I guess I could tear myself away from the insurance renewal at work. Thanks for taking Alice to the Li-berry yesterday - you're the best Tía ever!!
Posted by: Whit at June 29, 2005 09:53 AMRecliners in a book store is genious! Alice is looking precious as usual. Good luck tomorrow (today?) :)
Posted by: Vicki at June 29, 2005 10:57 AMYou're currently sitting in a dentist chair (or in the waiting room, at least). Hope all goes well! Maybe you got some knitting done while waiting? How many utensils fit on your decolletage today?

Posted by: Jenifer at June 29, 2005 08:22 PMHope it went okay. Your blog rocks. I love all the pretty picks and the details of your life and projects. As my mother always says (of pain) - in a year you will have forgotten all about this!
Posted by: yvette at July 1, 2005 12:11 AMGlad to hear that your root canal went well. When is the Tattered Cover knitting group? Is it a regular thing, and is open to others? The Cherry Creek store is near where I work. If you're up and around in the morning, come to Borders by Park Meadows. Happy 4th! Alice sure is a cutie-pie.
