It's been hard to think about blogging about the little things that are going on in my life, when there are so many other, bigger things going on in the world...but we all just have to keep on going, you know?! I wanted to just blog about something that made me smile lately. This is what I found when I came downstairs a couple mornings ago.

Jesse had claimed my Buttonhole bag as his personal cat bed! So, I guess I need to make him a Kitty Pi bed of his own. I made a couple of them last year for charity, but never one for him. (poor guy!) He seemed more interested in the un-felted beds than the felted ones...so I'm still not sure if I'll felt it or not. We'll see. This project is going to go on my ever-growing list of things that I want to do.
I'm going to a "finishing" party tonight, so I should have a couple finished projects to tell you all about this weekend. (these are of course the projects that I've been procrastinating on doing that tiny bit of finishing on! I'm not sure why I put them off?!) Have a great weekend, I plan on staying home and knitting as much as possible with season 4 of Felicity that just came from Netflix. Sounds good to me!

Posted by: Genia at July 8, 2005 06:22 PMHi, Stacey, I'm Bulle from France. I have been reading your weblog for a few days now, and I want to leave a comment today. I really like your knitting projects, and the way you write about your life.
For sure, your cat needs a Kitty Pi bed of his own, that is a sign ! And it's a fast and fun project, don't hesitate. ;-)
Oh I so know what you mean about the Kitty Pi bed. I really need to make one. When my cats are laying on the yarn itself, I feel like a rotten cat momma. Poor guys...I better up the priority of that project. Jesse's a sweetie though.
Posted by: Skylar at July 9, 2005 03:43 PMThat's so cute! LOL
But I'm glad my mom's cat just leave my yarns alone.
That cute kitty definitely needs a bed - get going, woman! ;)
Posted by: Stasia at July 10, 2005 12:01 AMTami seems to like unfelted projects better too. She claimed the Rose Bag for her own (I hope cat hair felts too...) so I may have to follow your lead and make her an unfelted version of the Kitty Pi bed.
