Knitting at the knitty professor's house on Friday night was a blast.

A funny thing happens when the stash is pulled out...we all pounce like rabid dogs on the yarn. It's quite funny actually. Michaele's stash is very well organized, into bags that she has little slips of paper with what pattern she was going to use with that particular yarn. I think that's a great idea, because sometimes I can't remember! She also has one of those gorgeous wrought iron/basket 3-tiered organizers made by Lantern Moon. This is where she houses the 32! projects she's making for her sisters baby! Wow! Talk about ambitious! I have yet to finish one of the many projects that I've started for Alice. (but the Crumpets is coming along! I'm already in the stockinette portion of the dress!!) Speaking of things that I'm coveting from my trip to Michaele's house, look at this "designer" kitty bed?! It's called a kitty pod. I love it! Her kitty Perry loves it too! Thanks for hosting us Michaele!!! Good luck in Salt Lake City...you will be missed! But the good thing about knitting blogs, is that I can read about your life and the time will fly by, until you're back in Boulder before you know it!

The rest of the weekend update is going to have to wait until tomorrow!
Hey, this is one of the first pics of me that looks halfway decent!
Posted by: Wanda at July 11, 2005 03:03 PMThat cat pod is super cute, but MAN! $389 for a bed? And imagine if your cat is fickle, and doesn't like it.
Posted by: Jenn at July 12, 2005 03:24 PMI want a kitty pod too! er, I mean, my kitties want a pod, but then their bed would be worth more $$ than mine.
