I'm home!

I got home late on Sunday night, my flight was delayed due to weather in Phoenix. It's monsoon season down there...this I did not know! I've been lazy about writing and posting photos of the trip, but I have many to share and much to tell you about! I'll be putting together a little vacation run down in the days to come. I may have to split it up so that I don't overwhelm you with photos, but I'll leave you with this:

Oh yes, I have been to IKEA. It was just as cool as everyone told me. My only regret was that my luggage needed to be a little bigger, and the airlines should allow people to carry on furniture. Seriously.

when i went to Ikea, it felt like I was going to Mecca. My Mecca. :) There's so much stuff there, and I don't understand why they don't have one here HERE here in Denver. I mean, hullo? Untapped moneymaking area here.

All that aside, what KNITTING did you do on your way there and back?

IKEA is so much fun. When I went to the store on Long Island, I seriously wanted to buy furniture and take it home. I'm with you that they should allow people to carry on furniture. I kept trying to talk M into us having it shipped. He mumbled something about not really saving money if we had to pay for shipping, but I really didn't care. Sadly, we came home with nothing from IKEA but food in our bellies as we ended up having lunch in the cafeteria.

I love IKEA. It is just about the coolest store around. I wish there was one near Denver.

I got my sheep shoes today!! So cool. Thanks for the heads-up.

Love that store. Just love it, although not this time of year with the heat and the parking. You are a brave chica!

LOL, I'm just imagining the scene if passengers were allowed to carry on furniture....

NO FAIR!!! Don't you wish Denver had an Ikea? I'd be driving the 250 miles weekly to shop.
