Mmmm...cake.

****Warning...no knitting content ahead, just incredibly cute pictures of my nieces first birthday cake*****

I spent last Saturday at my niece's first birthday party, and oh my goodness she is the cutest thing! Here's a little lesson in the way that cake should be eaten...no matter what the age!

First we have the tentative approach. She doesn't quite know if she's allowed to make a mess or not.

Then we have the,"let me see what this stuff tastes like."

"Look mommy, no hands!" She just went at it face first...we were all laughing so hard.

This was the look at me, I love being the center of attention face.

And last, but certainly not least, this is the what was left of the cake when she was done with it. I think she did pretty good with her first taste of mass quantities of sugar. I'm thinking that she will love sugar and candy just as much as her Aunt Stacey and her Daddy does!!
