Gone Rogue!!

Tonight was our bi-monthly knit group (everytime that I say bi-monthly I think of that Simpsons episode where Homer goes to the Bi-Mon SciFi Con...does anyone else remember that episode?), and there were 4 of us working on Rogue and we were all using Peace Fleece! Of course I had to take a picture.

Michelle's is the pretty brown one, my mom's is the light green, bluish one, I'm pink of course, and Cynthia's is the green yarn. I'm a little terrified of this pattern, it's so stinkin' huge. I know it will get easier once I get used to it, but sheesh it needs it's own notebook and everything. We all have just cast on and Michelle set up a Rogue blog since there are so many of us knitting it here in Denver.

Go check it out, and join us if you want! I've heard from so many people that they have been meaning to knit this sweater...even if you don't live in Denver, there's no time like the present!!

A Rogue meetup and I missed it! Darn it all! I bet it was fun.

The pattern's a bit advanced for me at this point, but it's BEAUTIFUL. Maybe at a later date...

I don't know if I've ever commented before, but I love your blog. I just sent an email to join the knitalong. It's so serendipitous! I just bought the pattern for Rogue last week!

Rogue was the first real knitting I did beyond scarves, and it really is easier than it looks :) I loved that sweater to death, until I washed it and shrunk it :( Now it's been laughing at me from a shelf for 8 months because I can't wear it. sigh.

Enjoy it! It's really such a fun knit.

The thing about Rogue pattern is that it is LONG, and looks tricky, but as long as you read ahead (this is IMPORTANT!) and follow what Jenna tells you to do, you will not be lead astray. I love love love mine, and once I have more time, and finish the other Jenna sweater on my list, I'm making one for my sister!

Don't be intimidated by the pattern. It is much easier than it looks - the pattern is just really thorough! I finished knitting mine months ago and it's been sitting in the seaming basket until today. I spent the whole afternoon seaming and setting in the sleeves. I'll post pictures later in the week. Have fun - it's addicting.

I've been meaning to do it. But I haven't starting sewing the zipped on my Debbie Bliss sweater and it's holding me back from more new cardis!

I have had the pattern sitting on my shelf for ages, waiting to be knit. I think I'm intimidated, but I won't do Eris until I do Rogue. Good luck with yours!!!!!!!

Love Peace Fleece! Rogue is too advanced for me, but I am making Peace Fleece's cardigan pattern, using the grey-blue color Fog. I've made the lacy scarf from Weekend Knitting using Peace Fleece also. Good luck with your Rogue!

Yes I happened on to the Rogue site. I have the pattern and have ordered my yarn. I just hope it goes ok.
