No fear and no age limits!

I have the world's coolest grandma. Seriously! How many grandma's do you know that would knit themselves a One Skein Wonder? Not too many I bet...but my grandma pulls it off with style and flare!! Look at her...

She looks great! Later that evening I was upstairs in the loft talking to my grandparents when my Grandpa (who's 84) spoke up and said, "I like that camisole that you made Sue." My grandma was like, "what? what did you say?" He repeated himself adding, "you know, that thing that you've been knitting on." I just had to laugh when she told him it was a shrug, not a camisole.

I'm not the only one that is getting some knitting done this week. Way to go grandma!! Congratulations on finishing another great project!
*and yes...that is a knitting needle in my mom's hair!!*

Wow, your grandma is so darn cool, a fact that I believe I've commented on before. It's so obvious where her granddaughter gets her flair. :)

That is so cool that your grandma made a OSW. She's rockin' it. I love it and it looks great on her too. It's so funny that your granddad called it a camisole! I love it, so hilarious.

I love reading your blog and I just HAD to comment on how great your gram looks! I have seen lots of OSW out in blogland and I think your gram looks the BEST! in hers. Not everyone can pull off that look. Your Mom is too cute with that needle in her hair.

I think your Grandma looks better in HER one skein wonder than I do! :-O

Posted by: Laurie at August 22, 2005 06:25 PM

Very adorable! I don't think my grandpa would know either a shrug or a camisole. :p

Posted by: Erica at August 23, 2005 07:15 AM

It looks so great on her! All the women in your family look young. You must have some good genes :)

i wish my grandmothers would rock the pink. they would look wonderful in it, but they prefer khaki. such a shame!
