I've been buried in this huge pile of papers at work since I returned to town. I have about 6 huge papercuts on my right and left index fingers...can you say, "Ouch!" We are sending out a year end letter (it's between 2500 and 3000 pieces) and it's taking longer than I thought. Ahhh! Only 4 days until Christmas! Believe me, I'd much rather be home knitting. If I get unburied...I may post some FO pictures!!

One good thing that happened yesterday is that I had my friends, Genia and Mandy, over and we watched the season finale of Nip/Tuck! This show is one of my guilty pleasures...I can't not watch it! Lots of exciting stuff was revealed last night in the two hour episode. To top off the evening we had Peppermintini's, courstesy of a holiday mix from Target. They were super yummy and hit the holiday spot!! Now I have to get back to stuffing envelopes...we're almost done and then it's off to the post office!
I want a cocktail!!
Posted by: Scout at December 21, 2005 02:47 PMgood luck on the envelope stuffing! papercuts suck!

Posted by: Becky at December 22, 2005 01:46 AMHey Wow, look, Two Becky's!!!
Peppermintini's sound so refreshing! I have been making do with Dutch Country Holiday Eggnog. Yummy but kind of heavy. Hope you are through stuffing envelopes and are ready to start the holiday's. It will be fun with Alice this year!
Do you get workman's comp for the paper cuts! *L* Be careful, you don't want to have any problems with knitting! Your cocktails look delish... but they'd have to be fantastic to beat your Mom's excellent punch.
Posted by: Joanne at December 22, 2005 01:19 PMI really like the addition of the party umbrellas to the peppremintinis! Seems like thumbing your nose at winter? LOL!
Posted by: samantha at December 22, 2005 04:11 PMthe peppermintinis are so festive with the candy canes! hopefully the papercuts will heal quickly and don't interfere with any knitting.
Posted by: cyn at December 22, 2005 04:12 PMPeppermintinis???!!!
And I wasn't invited???
hmmph.. :::walking away in a snit:::

those look tasty.
the drinks, not the piles of paper. I gave up eating paper products in the 1st grade (paste took longer)
To the last post... that bag is so beautiful! You can never have too many bags.
Posted by: Heather at December 22, 2005 08:17 PMThose look yummy! As is your pink bag ... how cute is that? :) Happy holidays to you! Are you still planning on hitting a Knitted Peace on Tuesday? (Is it Tues.?)
