I was able to hook up with Amy while I was down in Arizona last Saturday. She took me to a great little coffee shop in Mesa called Coffee Talk. I totally forgot to take a picture of the funky teapot and teacup chandelier that they had hanging in their shop...it was so cool. It was something that I saw and then thought, "I could totally make one of those". Anywhoo, here we are:

Amy is holding the bag that I made her. The fabric was just perfect...it was orange and pink and had monkey's all over it!! This had to be a quick post, I'm swamped at work...hopefully tonight I won't just crash, I'll actually take some pictures of the knitting that I've done! This is a knitting blog, right??
I caught an update at Amy's blog ... that's so much fun. :) Love the tee, too.
Posted by: Jenifer at January 11, 2006 12:17 PMIt was so fun watching that bag come together. I'm anxious to make more fun bags in the future...cause we need more bags, right? Actually they make great gifts...and the funkier the better!
Posted by: Marsha at January 11, 2006 12:44 PMOkay that bag is too cute! But the teacup/teapot chandelier just tops it all, I wish you would have taken a pic.
Posted by: ariane at January 11, 2006 01:59 PMVery cute bag! What pattern is that?
Posted by: Michelle at January 11, 2006 04:12 PMThe bag pattern can be found on Joanne's blog Keep Talking in the fabric section of her website. She has super cute knitting fabric that you all should check out too! The monkey fabric that I made the bag out of is from Hancock fabric in their upolstry section. Super affordable!!
Posted by: Stacey at January 11, 2006 04:59 PMOk...I'm not sure why that link didn't work, but you can get to Joanne's blog from my sidebar or this url: http://www.rjconklin.com/Fabric.htm
Posted by: Stacey at January 11, 2006 05:00 PMOh, the bag looks great. But yes, I want to hear all about the knitting! :-) Teehee!
Posted by: Wanda at January 12, 2006 08:02 AMMmmmm. Roarke! I'm on "the list" at the library for the new book. Thanks for dropping by and commenting. And that StorTrooper thingie in your sidebar led me astray for a while, too. :)
