I got together with some of the girls from my knit group this past Sunday to knit on our Fair Isle Jazz scarves. Check out the array of colors!! Can you guess who's who?!

Isn't it amazing how just changing the color combinations can completely change the look of your scarf?! I can't wait to see how these progress. I am enjoying my scarf...but I have to say I'm loving the way that Wanda's is looking. I don't have much time to post tonight, but I'm hoping to post about an interesting idea I have in the next day or two. I'm back in Arizona, but this time it's for work, so I'm going to be on the run for the next few days.
Posted by Stacey at January 17, 2006 10:49 PMThey all look fantastic, but yours is my favorite all that yummy pink=)
Posted by: Kylie at January 18, 2006 01:17 AMWhat fun! See you at Borders on Saturday.
Posted by: Joanne at January 18, 2006 05:47 AMHave fun in AZ!
Posted by: Wanda at January 18, 2006 06:29 AMThey're awesome! Are the backs unfinished, or how does that work?
Posted by: Norma at January 18, 2006 07:00 AMHave a great trip!
Posted by: Chris at January 18, 2006 07:05 AMi can't wait to see the progress on the scarf and charlotte when you get back!
Posted by: cyn at January 18, 2006 07:39 AMYours is front and center, of course.
And like Norma, I wonder about the back. Will you line it?
Posted by: Ruth at January 18, 2006 12:13 PMThey are so cool....got to find that pattern. I wonder, also about the back? Do tell!
Posted by: Lynne at January 18, 2006 02:34 PMNorma and Lynne...This is from the book Scarf Style and the striped section is actually not pictured in the book at all but it's going to be the back of the fair isle section. When you finish the striped section you knit a turning row and then start the fair isle. It's a nifty design feature, but it's one of those things that they don't mention OR show and it drives me crazy!! What about all the "fuzzy" and out of focus pictures they have in knitting books?! Annoying!!!
Posted by: Stacey at January 18, 2006 05:38 PMI am totally liking them! After a few of my projects get done I might have to start it.
Posted by: sharon at January 20, 2006 09:35 AMSoooo many beautiful colors here....I'm really starting to understand your obsession with the color pink....good to know...good to know!!
Posted by: HarmonicSpectrum at January 20, 2006 03:23 PMWow, this is so fun to see all of these! It's true, the colors can completely change the personality of the scarf! I'm quite partial to the red one, but I LOVE red.
I just finished this pattern myself. You will all LOVE your scarves! That's so fun that you're all doing them together!
Posted by: Kim/ChefMessy at January 21, 2006 07:15 AMWow...the scarves are fabulous! Love the variety in color and design :)
