Knitting spotted in TV-Land

So, last week I was watching TiVo...and twice I spotted knitting references in previews for next weeks shows! Cool, huh?! One is this coming up Sunday on Grey's Anatomy! I don't need to gush, and go on and on about how great this show is...because you all are watching it already?! Right?! If not, rent the first season on Netflix...and get caught up! This is a great show and you shouldn't be missing it.

The second sighting was on Everwood. It looks like they are having a guest appearance this Monday, April 3, by Kelly Carlson, a woman who has risen to fame as Kimber on Nip/Tuck. I had to rewind this preview because I wasn't expecting it, and I thought, "it looks like she was in a yarn shop, and I think that those are Lantern Moon baskets!" Sure enough, they are!! I love that TV shows are featuring knitting and yarn shops in their shows more and more lately.

I know what I'm going to be doing on Sunday and Monday nights...watching T.V. and knitting, or should I say knitting while watching knitting on T.V.?! Have a great weekend everyone!

I'm watching Gray's Anatomy... it started here 3 weeks ago and I'm enjoying it (in German)... I didn't know my darling hunky Patrick Dempsey was in it... that is reason enough for me to watch it LOL.

Have you noticed the nice knitted stuff a lot of the Everwood cast wear? I think that yarn shop was already once in one of the episodes. Isn't that where Bright and Ephram go to to get fake ID's??

I too get excited when I see knitting on tv. I love the chart for the afghan. Was it difficult to make it all even on the edges?

I squealed when I saw the knitting preview on Grey's Anatomy - I can't wait til Sunday! Such a great show, I'm glad it's catching on.

When I saw that preview I almost left a comment on your blog! I'm glad you didn't miss it! My thoughts are with you and your dad...You can just tell from his picture that he's a great guy.

They film exteriors from Everwood right where the yarn shop is that I used to knit at every Thursday in Utah. I don't think they have ever used the shop for an interior shot though--it would be cool if they did :)

It pained me to watch Meridith last night knitting with those big bamboo needles. At least Izzy was using Addie's. I wanted to take them by the hand to show them how to continental knit.
