Project Spectrum May: Green

I've started off the month with green in mind. Since I'm on a felted clog kick...I cast on another pair yesterday. This is going to be the first class that I teach in a few weeks and I wanted to have some samples knit up...which means that I'm knitting like a mad woman. I'm turning the cuff on this first one...and I'm going to cast on for the second clog tonight! I just love how the mohair is striping...totally didn't know it would do that...bonus!

Yarn: Brown Sheep worsted in Kiwi for the soles. The top is 1 strand of Brown Sheep Chocolate Souffle held with one strand of Artful Yarns Broadway in color number 07.

wow, I really love those colors. Green is my fave! I want to make some now, but I need another "on the needles" like I need a hole in my head.

The clogs look beautiful. I'd definitely love your help to finish Christina's! Since I'm working mostly on Liam's blanket, I know I'm going to have trouble getting them done by the 18th. Since you're so quick, maybe you could take 'em to AZ with you. :) gotta love sisters!

Your shopping bag says it's from the Studio, right here in Kansas City. Wow! I had to blink twice, because I know that you're in Colorado. How fun to see something familiar. That could be my stash. LOL. Love the greens you've chosen. Can't wait to see how the combo felts up together.

Teaching clogs in the past, I found it helpful to have one slipper felted and the other unfelted for illustrative purposes.

Thought you'd be heading to KC today for Ann and Kay. I have a friend there who is NOT going. What is her problem???

whoa those felted clogs look pretty awesome!

i hated making them because my soles never came out as perfect as they should have. they always seem a little wonky in the back.

Those look awesome Stacey! Wonderful yarn choices, can't wait too see what they look like felted! I'm boring when it comes to clogs - give me WOTA. I should branch out and try another yarn, maybe I'd actually enjoy knitting the durned things!

mmm, yummy yarn. I have never knit up the felted clogs despite how much I admire them because I rely on my dog to warm my feet...he's pretty useful for that in the winter during tv watching :)
