This was my favorite picture that I took on the trip to Arizona. We were delivered to the apartment in a limo because it's cheaper and much roomier than a cab. (so my Dad says)
This weekend is going to be busy, busy, busy! I teach my first class tomorrow at Highlands Ranch String! I'll be teaching at least 6 ladies how to make Felted Clogs and I'm a little bit nervous. Obviously, I know how to knit this pattern, I've done it about 17 times now...but this is the first class in a formal setting. I know two of the ladies taking the class already so that should help a little. My brother and his wife are coming into town tomorrow! Yea! I need to do some major work on my Back Tack 3 project for MK. I've been rummaging through my fabric and yarn stashes and I haven't found the perfect thing just yet. I need to get some receipes together for a little receipe swap I'm in with some ladies over at the Betty Crafter blog. AND I need to get some serious knitting in! Most stuff for my up-coming classes are at the point that I need them to be...so now I can knit on stuff for me!! Summer tops and cotton knits, here I come!
Posted by Stacey at May 19, 2006 08:10 AMLovely photo of your parents! They look so happy.
And good luck with the class. You'll do great.
O.K.-so you know you look so much like your Dad, right? I just had to mention that!
Have a great class! Wish I lived close so I could take your class.
Posted by: Jeanie at May 19, 2006 07:00 PMYou're gonna do great! I'd be nervous too but I know you'll be fine. :) I'd love to make some clogs too someday...
Posted by: Carolyn at May 19, 2006 08:41 PMA limo may be cheaper but I suspect your dad enjoys spoiling your mom :). This is a great photo. I hope he is doing well. As for you and the class...those jitters will disappear in the first 10 minutes. You will be great! And after your shepherd the ladies leisurely through the clogs, they will think you a wise sage...those clogs can be challenging! Best of luck to you.
