What you are looking at is almost 80 little mitered squares...the blanket is almost finished!! The blank spots in the afghan are where the green squares will go. (those are the ones that I'm responsible for...oops!) I'll write more later, I'm headed to the yarn shop and a knitting group! Have a great weekend!

Wow, looks great! Makes me want to start an afghan!

Posted by: Chris at June 2, 2006 08:53 PMThe blanket looks AWESOME!! I'm making a mitred square blanket too, but it's a lot more psycho because I'm just using a bunch of single skeins I have in my stash. I love the look with the more limited palette, though!!
Posted by: Renee at June 2, 2006 11:20 PMLooks great! looks HUGE! Fabulous. Can you knit all the green squares in one weekend? I'm not sure that I could....

Wow, that blanket is gorgeous. It's all brownand! Gotta love that. I think Auntie Stacey had better get cracking, not too much longer to cook in that oven!

Posted by: Sheryl at June 5, 2006 11:20 AMAbsolutely beautiful! I am working on a blanket using bright granny squares out of Lion Microspun, but I got the MD book and have had a change of heart, I'd much rather work on the mitered squares! Great color combos!

Posted by: Dana at June 5, 2006 05:00 PMThanks for all your help this weekend. The blanket is going to be so great when we sew it up! I'm not sure who will enjoy it more, Liam or Mommy. Don't worry about the green squares, between you and Drew and I they'll get done. You've been an integral part of getting it done!
