World Wide Knit in Public Day!!

It's "World Wide Knit in Public Day" today, so where are you going to knit that you usually don't?! I'm headed to Highlands Ranch String to learn to crochet, and then I'm headed outdoors to Knit in Public! This is a normal occurance for me. I knit in public on a regular basis...but some of the girls (Jeni and Nachaele and my Mom) from my class and I are going to go bigger. We're going to go someplace that's not the norm for us! **I totally got busy yesterday and forgot to mention that it was my 2 year blogiversary yesterday!! I can't believe that I've been writing this blog for 2 years!?! I've met so many wonderful people and had so many great experiences...I never imagined that blogging, of all things, would enrich my life so much! Thanks everyone for being a part of it!!**

Happy BlogVersary! That's cool. As for knitting in public, I'm already infamous for that and I'm not sure how to make it 'worse' ;-) If it were a work day, I could knit in meetings and make everybody mad. Sadly, as it's Saturday, the best thing I can think of is Home Depot.. and, ya know, been there, done that, got the funny looks from the sweaty guy in the tank top carrying the I-beam...

I knit lace at a bike rally. Really. I also skated around there on roller skates. Whew! I'm tired. :)

I just KNEW that I was going to forget about this day. You know I even chose not to bring my knitting to work for lunch today. I usually do, but didn't think I'd feel like it. Darn!!

Congrats on 2 years! A blog is a commitment and you do a really nice job, Stacey! I will probably knit at the pool today and maybe on the golf course when me and my 9 year old play this afternoon.
