I forgot to mention that I did get a bag on this trip...it's just a little unusual. It's not a brand name knitting bag, it's vintage baby! There was a woman selling vintage bags not too far from the Fold booth and I just couldn't resist this little pink one. It's made of some sort of tapestry yarn. I love the little wooden handles and the idea that someone "stitched" this years ago.

I also picked up a needlecase from Crippenworks. I love, love, love their designs! You need to check them out! The case that I purchased is used exclusively for circular needles, but they had them for straights, a combination of straights and circs, crochet hooks, DPN's...you name it, they had it! Very cool stuff.
Posted by Stacey at October 27, 2006 02:21 PMThat is so pretty! I love stitchery. I use all my Aunt Kathy's old stuff, and it always makes me feel special that I get to use something that her hands touched with the same purpose in mind!
Posted by: Krista M at October 29, 2006 07:56 AMI love that bag! A friend of mine has a vintage tapestry bag in a floral design with the wooden handles. She uses it to transport her "travel" knitting. I love that bag. And yours. I must find one for myself.
Posted by: Dana at October 30, 2006 04:57 AMI love that bag! I've been searching for one for ages, but I've seen nothing like that. Well done!
Your Seraphim is amazing as well... Oh that I could knit like that!
