Nachaele went to visit her family in Wisconsin last week...and she brought me back a fun surprise! Granted, it wasn't really a surprise since she called me from the airport and told me what she got me, but it was appreciated none the less! It's actually a yarn that I had never seen before, and Tiffany and I had planned to check out at the show.
It's from a company called Conjoined Creations. I haven't been able to find out much about the reason why they named it that...it seems a little weird, especially once you see the logo. Oh well. Back to the yarn...it's called Pastimes and is a 100% soy silk laceweight yarn. So gorgeous. My color is part of the music collection, and is named "8 Tracks". It's a pinky, green combination. Thanks Nachaele!

I have some of that but mine is a different color. The texture is so cool! I picked it up at MD Sheep and Wool last year. Any ideas on what you'll make with it? I look forward to finding out because I can't decide!
Posted by: sarah b. at January 10, 2007 12:05 PMIt's gorgeous! I'm going to have to look around for some! You'll have a great time in San Diego when you come--it will feel like spring to you! Wish I could go to the show with you, but I'm just a lowly knitter, not a shopowner or seller. Make sure you post lots of details!
Posted by: Lisa at January 10, 2007 12:54 PMHi Stacey! I met the ladies who dye that yarn once at Southwest Trading Company. I think it's called Conjoined Creations because the two of them joined up to start the dye company. Don't worry- they aren't siamese twins or anything ;)
That's my favorite colorway too. PS I don't work at Jessica's anymore, but you can e-mail me when you're in town if you'd like to meet up.
Happy Knitting!
