Things are crazy at work this week for me, so I'm putting off the stash sale until later this week or next Monday. I did get to knit this past weekend...I had a great dinner and knit-night on Friday with my girlfriends, went to a Nuggets game on Saturday with my family and roommate Jenny, then taught 6 new people how to knit on Sunday! It was a full weekend for sure!
I brought my knitting to the game, but because we were so close to the court I didn't pull mine out. My Mom on the other hand was not at all ashamed to bust out the knitting. Go Mom!

Your mom is just the cutest thing EVER!! Sounds like you had a fun weekend!

Posted by: sarah b. at January 29, 2007 11:53 AMIt definitely sounds like a fun-filled weekend. M and I went to a Nuggets game a few weeks ago on a Friday night and because we sat so close to the floor, he asked me not to knit. When we've gone before, we sat further up and I had no problem with knitting, but I saved him from embarrassment and didn't knit that time.

Posted by: Julie at January 29, 2007 10:34 PMIs that a circ with a pink cable that your mom is using? OMG! What brand is it?
Posted by: K. Anne at January 29, 2007 11:14 PMYeah - family, a game, knitting, and, my favorite, you got to teach so many people the joy of knitting. Yippy! Way to go Stacey.
Posted by: Jennifer at January 30, 2007 04:29 AMHi there!
I stumbled into your blog by way of Amy Lu. Knitting looks so fun, but I wanted to ask if it's easy to learn. My mom used to crochet a lot -- our doilies and runners here at home were made by her. Is knitting easier to learn than crochet?
Your blog is really nice, and like Amy Lu's, has delightful buttons! Nice photos too =)
Have a great day.
Sunny
