Cheetoh's, Cherry Coke, & Teletubbies

Cheetoh_girl1.jpg

These are the things that made the drive to Missouri bearable to us all. Cheetoh's for Alice. She held that bag in her lap and it was almost as big as she is. Cherry Coke for me. Somedays I'd like to just hook up an IV. Mmmm...I love a good cherry coke from the fountain with lots of ice. The teletubbies were for Liam. We could get at least 45 minutes to an hour of semi quite time out a Teletubbie dvd. Poor little guy. He hates the car on a regular day, let alone when we are in it all day.

On Thursday I made it down to The Studio and picked up the makings for a little swirl hat. I couldn't resist the mint chocolate swirly cuteness. I'm planning on making a couple of these for Kaps for Kendall and I've already started one for Alice out of Nashua Cilantro. You can see in the picture below that I am knitting on it while on a walk with my family. My cousin thought that this was so funny, he had to take a picture of it. You can also see a closeup of my new haircut in that shot. (click here for the closeup) I've got a big day planned today with RayLynn...we're making the rounds of all my favorite places in Kansas City. More on that later!

Stacey~very cute little hat. I am making a little pink number. Where do I send it and when is it "due"? Kindly drop me an email or leave it on my blog. Nice haircut, and I like your necklace!

Little Rage is all about the Cheetos right now too. I think his fingers will be permanently orange from that stuff.

Teletubbies--I remember the days. Now it's Spongebob and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends on our car trips.

That's a cute hat; have a great visit!

Mmm cherry coke. When they don't have it, I mix diet coke with dr. pepper. Would that make it prune coke?

My co-worker just pulled out a Cherry Coke ZERO!!

I am SO driving to the grocery store today!

Cute hat!:o)

Liking the haircut, very cute. I see you use similar tactics to us for longer car trips - cheetos all the way.

Cute swirl hat. In those colors it makes me think of a cactus in a terra cotta pot! It was good to see you last night.
