Wanna see what I've been knitting on lately? I've been madly knitting on projects that are going to be class samples. Gotta get them done. Then I can get back to my sweater projects that I desperately want to get done...Ariann, Sienna Cardigan, and Jawbreaker, just to name a few.

These are the Baby Snugs from the company Pick Up Sticks. If you haven't seen their projects before...go check them out. So cute! The down-side to this pattern though, is that you knit 2 boots and then you have to knit 2 complete boot liners. Hmmm. 4 boots total. They will be super cute when they're done and after they do their duty as a class sample, they'll be a perfect Christmas gift for Alice!

Elizabeth Zimmerman's February Sweater. I was totally inspired by the version that Brooklyn Tweed knit up not too long ago. Simply gorgeous. I have been looking for a reason to knit with the Pakucho Organic cotton that recently came into the shop...this seems like the perfect pairing! If you haven't seen this yarn in person yet, let me tell you, it feels wonderful. Super soft and all in natural colors.

By now everyone has heard the buzz on the Mystery Stole 3. Here's my pathetic showing so far. I love the color I've chosen. I love my beads. I just haven't spent the time knitting it that I should. We are already 2 clues in and I haven't even knit through half of the first clue! Ahhh! Must get knitting on this!
Tune in tomorrow for an update on what happens when Jesse meets Tilli Tomas.
Posted by Stacey at July 9, 2007 10:07 AMi love the snugs, but you are right - they take forever. i knit myself a pair of the adult ones. but they were worth all the effort in the end. they are so cute!
Posted by: amy at July 9, 2007 06:32 PMI love the pakucho yarn. It is so elegant and soft. I can't wait to see the sweater.
Posted by: Monica at July 9, 2007 07:00 PMyour MS yarn looks more yellow-y than green in the pic... but it looks great so far!! I have to rip mine out (i'm on row... 107?) Sigh.
Posted by: cyn at July 9, 2007 07:25 PMNice MS3--I like the soft yellow color you chose. I'm with you I have so much going on I barely at row 50...
So much knitting.. So little time:(

Those are three great-looking projects. I love the color of your yarn and beads for the shawl. That februray sweater is adorable, it will be great in that yarn. I've heard a lot of good things about Pakucho.
Don't be down on yourself about the mystery stole. I love the pattern but dang it takes some concentration. I tried to work on it last night and I only made it through 4 rows (that'd be 2 patterned and 2 purl) before my brain gave out and I put it away. Ugh!
Posted by: Michelle at July 10, 2007 09:33 AMI love the green you've chosen for your stole! It's going to be a beautiful project.
Posted by: Beth at July 10, 2007 11:29 AMYes, you should finish up those snugs quick! You definitely have to finish up some of your sweater projects for the winter. I like the color you chose for Mystery Stole. It's very pretty. The pattern does require lots of concentration. I'm just up to row 80 after spending lots of time on Sunday knitting on it.
Posted by: Wanda at July 10, 2007 02:42 PMHow pretty. I'll be checking back for updates!
