I have been going a little nuts on Etsy lately...I freely admit this. I love supporting small crafty businesses and Etsy gives me the opportunity to do that.

Piddleloop Sewing Team...a team of 2 sisters sewing up some of the cutest little project totes around! Love these girls! I was introduced to Jenn a few years ago when we both participated in a stitchmarker swap. I still use the ones that she sent me! I had her make a custom set for me with the oh-so-cute goldfish fabric. The attention to detail is stellar. She put the cutest ribbon in each of the needle wallets. One is for DPN's and the other is for circulars. I bought them with the thought that I would keep my specific sock needles in them.

•4x6 loose fish
•circular wallet loose fish
•4x6 bagged fish
•sock needle DPN Wallet bagged fish

The icing on the cake though? She sent me a friendship pin. Do you remember them? They were little safety pins that you'd fill with seed beads and put on your shoes? Pink converse high tops in my case! I love it! I'll be sharing more of my Etsy finds in the days and weeks to come. Have a great weekend everyone!
Posted by Stacey at August 3, 2007 07:58 AMi am honored to know after all this time my stitch markers are still used! :D
glad you love the set, it was a joy to make them for you.
The piddleloop sewing team is awesome!
I just love that fish fabric, too.
I've never heard of friendship pins, but how cool. I love that bag and the fabric.
Posted by: Wanda at August 3, 2007 01:21 PMWow!! You took it back with the friendship pin!
I used to LOVE those too! :oD
Don't you just love piddleloop!!!!!! I have 2 of their project kits, and adore and use them often. All though i did loose my small fish pouch to my 2 year old daughter. she has taken custody and is not giving it back.
Posted by: kayt at August 3, 2007 02:59 PMI love Piddleloop, they have such great stuff. Do you remember that each color on the friendship pin signified something, like trust, loyalty, etc? I had the pinned on my sneakers.
Posted by: Monica at August 3, 2007 05:43 PMi have that same "hands knitting" ribbon. i can't bear to sew it on to anything tho. i love it too much.

Posted by: Batty at August 4, 2007 06:52 AMAs usual, you show me something and like a little lost sheep I follow and then end up loving it and having to have one for myself. I bought the hearts project set. Their stuff looks so cute!
Posted by: Suzanne at August 4, 2007 08:34 AMHa, I used to work at a fabric store and LOVED that collection. I actually have curtains made out of another fabric from that collection...it's orange with dandelions. There's another print with old-fashioned bicycles, and a few with garden gnomes. It's nice quality too. Very cutely done up here!
