These are a few of my favorite things...

I thought that I'd share some of my favorite things of the Holiday season. The first thing...are all the little silver sparkle birds that live in my Christmas tree. I bought these birds at Crate and Barrel for about $1.00 apiece when I was in Chicago. They are just so glittery and fun.

Next we have the Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice drink. Mmmmmm...caramel apples. You add that yumminess to my new pink sparkle travel mug and it's sheer perfection. I'm drinking hot tea out of it right now and I swear it makes the tea taste better...I love this mug of mine.

Then we have the gathering of good friends to go and see Pride and Prejudice last night. Totally worth it. It was fun to just get out and do something a little out of norm. It was one of those things that I might have let slip by...but I decided to just do it! I'm so glad that we did it!

I'm home cleaning house for the party that I'm having this weekend. The snow is falling outside and I'm just glad to be warm and snug at my house, listening to Christmas music, and getting ready to do a little cooking. Fun! Have a great weekend everyone.

What fun stuff! I know you girls had a blast and I have to admit, a little jealous, but you know that I'm not the biggest Pride and Prejudice fan. I love you and your holiday spirit! Glad you got so much done today organizing and holiday party prepping!

Love the bling bling birds!! I am going to have to try that Caramel Apple Spice. I will do that once I ween myself off the Peppermint Mocha I am addicted to. Damn you Starbucks!!!!

Let me just start off by saying that I love your blog! I read it all the time!

I was wondering if you had finished your Gryffindor scarf? I just started on mine not too long ago and I'm on the first repeat. But for some reason it doesn't look right. I'm using Brown Sheep Nature Spun and size 7 circs. I tried doing 4 rows of gold and then 5 of the burgundy and then another 4 of the gold but it looks too wide in my opinion. Might I ask how many rows of each color you did on your scarf?
