Happy New Year everyone! Are you curious how I celebrated the ringing in of 2008? Exciting stuff folks. My roommate and I (who can be found here on Ravelry) inventoried some of our yarn. I say some because we got tired and are going to have to finish tomorrow. I remember when staying up until midnight was a common occurrence around here...not any more. I'm feeling a little too old. We had a very special helper as we were pulling my yarn off the shelves. Thanks Jesse. Happy New Year to you all!

*For those of you who have asked...the DisneyWorld thing isn't going to happen until late Spring/early Summer. My sister is about to pop, only 5 weeks to go until she has baby number 3, so that means no traveling for her for a while. If any of you have Disney World tips/secrets be sure to share them!*
Posted by Stacey at December 31, 2007 11:59 PMWell, that's how I'm going to spend New Years Day, so I'm glad that I'm not the only one who feels the need to organize and inventory in the new year. :-) It always inspires me to go through the stash. I inevitably find stuff that I forgot I had.
Posted by: sarah b. at January 1, 2008 08:30 AMPurty yarn.... ooooohh aaaaaahhhhh!
Posted by: Christine at January 1, 2008 10:20 AMHappy New Year! How fun for you to inventory the yarn. I'm sure it will be nice for you to be able to see it all on Ravelry.
Posted by: Wanda at January 1, 2008 10:55 AMMy best wishes for a gorgeous yarny 2008!!!
Posted by: Laura at January 1, 2008 12:42 PMTip #1: take two cars. then if the kiddos (under the age of 10) get tired, then not everyone has to leave.
Tip #2: eat as many of the frozen strawberry bars as possible. You cannot find these at the grocery store. The closest is the dole frozen strawberry fruit bars, but it's not even close.
Tip #3: Honey I shrunk the audience ride. My favorite (Horizons) has been taken down.
Jesse looks adorable. and kind of trim!
Posted by: cyn at January 1, 2008 01:18 PMI thought you were doing some organizing as I saw you updated some of your stash (Ravelry).
I keep thinking I have to reorganize my stash. Sigh.

Love the picture of your little helper :D
Posted by: Terrie at January 2, 2008 10:20 AMThat's one happy cat! Why not, right?
My biggest tip for Disneyworld is plan a big breakfast before going in - Denny's or whatever you like. That way you'll be fine for a good part of the day and won't have to contend with all those long lines and fast food. You can eat something light and easy for lunch (even if it's just pizza) and then have a dinner when you get home.
Happy New Year!
Posted by: Jennifer at January 2, 2008 10:03 PMThat's a great yarn shot! Your stash is so colorful, I love it!
Posted by: Marlena at January 3, 2008 08:07 AMOh, my goodness....I love the yarn inventory! And, Happy New Year...Oh, and you want Disney Tips? I am the Disney Queen! I love going, and I love making it all work out to see everything and experience as much as possible. When are you going?
Posted by: Lynne at January 3, 2008 02:12 PMGo buy the book Disney World with Kids. It's amazing. It tells you what to hit and what to miss, how to plan your day so you avoid lines everywhere. We got to see so much more of the park than we would have otherwise. Have fun:)
