Surprise!

Baby Surprise_6

It's a finished Baby Surprise Jacket! I just bound off last night and I am SO pleased with how it turned out. That Elizabeth Zimmerman is a genius! This is what the sweater looks like when you finish knitting it...it's like knitted origami.

Then with a few quick folds and 2 tiny seams across the shoulders, you have a finished baby sweater...it's like magic! Of course I took a million pictures, so here are a few of them for you.

Love the yarn you used! Soooooooooo pretty! I just posted the update on my BSJ for my cousin's 4th daughter. They live in Ann Arbor, so rather than more pink for the, she's getting her first U of Michigan sweater...

How's your Dad? Mine has more surgery this week, so I'm heading home over the weekend. I keep thinking about your parents as mine have been through the wringer on his surgical issues lately. Here's to both Dads getting better!

Turned out so cute! I CO for my BSJ about 6 months ago and never got around to getting much more done. Perhaps I've found the inspiration to complete it.

BTW, I have collected elephants since I was in grade school. So if I end up using elephant buttons too, Im soooooooooooooooo not copying you.

;o)
