I got a wild hair last weekend that I needed to knit my nephew Liam a sweater. I picked out yarn and a pattern and found the needles, but then I decided that I didn't need to cast on right away. Well, then our network went down at work on Wednesday at around 10 am. What's a girl to do when all the things that I needed to do were on the network? So I knit a gauge swatch. Then I cast on and knit the ribbing. Then the next day, the network was still giving us issues, so I started knitting the skull. By this time, I'm obsessed with seeing how the whole skull will look, so I keep knitting. The network may have come back on around 1:00ish on Thursday, I can't be sure....I was still knitting. It's amazing just how much you can get done when you knit all day! After lunch on Thursday I had to put the knitting away and actually work, but this project is addicting. I want to have it done for his 2nd birthday at the beginning of July and at this rate it looks like a good possibility.
