Project Details:
Pattern: Juliet from the brilliant girls over at Zephyrstyle
Yarn: Noro Iro in color #57. I used 6 skeins, plus a tiny bit of a 7th. If you cut the length down, you'd only need 6.
Needles: Addi US size 10.5
Modifications: The only thing that I changed was that I made my arms a little bit bigger. I did this by doing a few more increase rounds and only increasing on the arm sections. I think I just made maybe 2 or 4 more increases. I can't remember exactly, but I'm happy with the way that it turned out.
I just finished this sweater up this morning...I even wove all the ends in. I haven't figured out what kind of buttons I want to use for this yet, or if I want to do a few small hook and eye closures. Do any of you have an opinion on the matter? Also, did I take the time to block it before wearing it? NOPE! I'll do that later. Have a great weekend everyone!
Just in case any of you are inspired...this yarn is on sale all month long at Colorful Yarns...for 16 bucks a skein instead of the usual $20. Just sharing the love! :)

Posted by: Kylie at April 11, 2008 06:53 PMLOVE the color you picked. It looks great even pre-block... wonder how long it will be after you block it? (psst. where ARE you? not in your neighborhood? is it sis' new hood or mom and dad's?)
Posted by: cyn at April 11, 2008 07:05 PMI was wearing my Juliet today and wondering how you were doing on yours. I love it. It looks really nice on you.
How about a pin instead of buttons?

I'd use a nice button, but it's probably a very personal choice!
It's really cute! I think frog closures, 2 or three, in a smaller size.
