Waves in the square.
Pattern: Waves in the Square (rav link)
Yarn: Sophie's Toes in the color Deep Rose.
Needles: Addi Lace US 5
Over the weekend I decided to cast on for a lace project. It has been a number of months since I've knit any lace, and I've been itching to start something. Plus, my Sophie's Toes has been calling my name ever since it arrived in the mail a few weeks ago. I wound up the ball last week...can you say, "biggest ball of yarn, ever?!" Emily dyed up a special batch of this colorway in a gigantic skein so that I wouldn't have as many ends to weave in. Isn't that just the best? Her customer service is awesome! Plus, her colors are to die for. This one is called Deep Rose. I'm about halfway through the first chart and so far, so good. I'm beginning to really see the pattern. I think that this is going to be a fun project!
Oh my god, I'm in love with that pattern AND that yarn. It's beautiful!!
